Probably a clogged drain line–get a sewer cleaner person out to run a long snake through the lines to clear out roots or obstructions. It should cost about $75.

there is a stoppage in the line somewhere below your drains probably below in your main sewer line and any water you use in your house just back flows into your sinks and drains ,but before you do this ask neighbors if they are having problems aswell if anyone else is that means the street is blocked somewhere if so call local authorities> if street is ok then your need to have your sewerline snaked, check your sewer trap(the U shaped pipe outside or in basement) see if thats blocked it might need cleaning out as grease and soaps from kitchens and laundry roooms clogg up in the trap and need periodic cleaning.if water is flowing in and out of trap then stoppage is between trap and your house,,if the water doesnt flow out of trap and down to main sewer line then you have a main line stoppage. good luck hope i was clear enough for you..you can rent a snake from home depot for about 50 a day or rooter rooter or a local company should do it for that amount too… shop around

Beachedcelt is right for a house on sewer. And it is similar if you are on a septic system.
On a septic system, where the drain pipe comes from under the house should be a clean out plug before it gets to the tank. Open it up and if there isn’t much water in there then the blockage is back toward the house. If you get sewage out of it, then the tank is full and probably the drain field is probably stopped up. Go to the end of the septic tank and dig around where the drain goes into the field and see if you get water flowing out of the tank. if so, your field is stopped up and a new one will have to be installed.
Good luck
