How much would a nyc plumbing permit cost, approx. for a $2250 job?

A plumber quoted me $2250 plus tax to move the water supply valves and sink drain for my kitchen sink, and then said the cost to file with the city and pull the permit would be another $1250. Does that seem right?
Hi everyone, thanks for the suggested options, but I know all that already. I’m just looking for anyone that has direct knowledge of what a nyc plumbing permit in Manhattan would cost. Thanks!

Plumbing: slow leak in supply pipe?

Is there a product, spray on or otherwise, that I can buy commercially to fix a slow leak from an old pipe?

There is apprx. one drip every couple minutes. I would need to apply this product directly to the spot on the pipe. This would save me the major expense of having to replace the pipe.
