Flushing prawn shells down the toilet, really good for the plumbing?

We were told by a friend of ours that you should flush your prawn shells down the loo and that it cleans out the pipes and is good for the plumbing, anyone heard of this?

i don’t think that they are strong enough to clean the pipes. if the pipes are grimy already they would just get stuck and clog them up. by the way if you didn’ t find your previous art nouveau picture you can find it at this link. just scroll to the bottom of page.

I have never heard of it, but toilet water eventually goes back to the ocean, so you’re really just letting the prawns shells go home. LOL, I don’t know.

I don’t know if it is good but I don’t think it will hurt the pipes either.

Rule of the thumb, nothing but toilet paper,human waste only down the toilet.So that nothing can stop it up.You can’t loose this way.
