How do I repair my toilet?
I had a pipe brust in the garage and have repaired. But one of my tiolets isn’t flushing with power. It doesn’t pull all the contents down the sytem. I put more water in tank but that won’t work.

is the Flusher attach to the Drainish?? is your toliet knob on? (behind the toliet) thats might be why, so turn the knob.

Sounds like they may have caused an obstruction in the drain pipe.
If that’s it, get the repair people back and have them fix what they screwed up for free. They break it, they fix it!

I don’t think that the burst pipe has anything to do with the toilet not flushing properly. Toilets run on gravity, that is why below the Equator the water will spin in the opposite direction. There are power assist toilets that have an air tank in the water tank that assists using less water per flush. If you fill the tank up to the high water mark in the tank and it still doesn’t work then its either one of these problems. 1. There is something stuck in the goose neck of the bowl and slowing down the flush. 2. The flapper is closing too soon and not allowing enough water into the bowl on each flush for proper operation. This is adjustable in the linkage in the tank. Adjust the angle of pull and or the length of chain from lever to flapper. 3, the toilet drain pipe may not be vented properly or something is blocking the vent. Sometimes you will hear a gurgling in the other drains when this occurs but not always. I would go with either 1 or 2 they are most common and the guts in the tank are easy do it yourself repairs. I recommend buying a Fluid master 400a and a new supply line . It has trash in the supply line and that should fix it . If not check with your neighbors . Does everyone have water pressure problem or just your 1 toliet ?

There is a little hose that comes from the Fluid Master or control- that hose must be in the Pipe that sticks up- it adds water to the Flush and it sounds like your is not in there- also check the Tank after it fills, make sure its filling up. Note the old water line.

You need to adjust your flush valve. They usually have a screw in them that you adjust. Try moving the screw that should give you more water and water pressure. If not see if your flapper is no good.
