My toilet is stopped up, I’ve tried two different plungers. How can I repair my toilet to flush again?


Fill a mop pail with water. Pour directly into the center of the toilet from waist height.

  6. Hey man… here’s is my solution from similar answer i have posted before:-

    "the papers are lodged in between the air trap of the WC (water closet); it’s shape like an ‘S’ or ‘U’ to prevent the foul smell from the main sewer stack to escape into your toilet and room…so you need to dislodge them at this nasty little bend. Try using some hooks preferable wood or plastic that can bend as well so that you will not scratch the insides. Try not to use a metal or hard force, you may crack the ceramic WC bowl. After a few yanks, try flushing it. If it does not work, try good old Newton’s Law :- Fill up a big bucket with water and stand up on a high stool or ladder & try to pour the whole bucket of water continously into the bowl with force..i mean gravity. This may push the clough tissues through. If it still can’t work, see if you can find some solvent or acid to disolve the tissue over time & repeat the above process. If still no, you can either get a toilet plunger or a plumber, which may solve your problem in the first place. "

  7. if you cant do it with a plunger then you cant do it.
    i mean do you know how to use a snake or auger? can you remove the toilet?
    call a plumber. are you from manila? call malabanan! its your best option

    benjy chang– if you cant do it with a plunger you cant pour water no mater how high the stool. i mean tissue will dislodge if you use a plunger…

  8. My son flushed a dead fish from his aquarium. One that was really too big to be flushed. Then it swelled up to boot. Plugged up his toilet so that he and my husband had to take the toilet off. It was hilarious. This doesn’t help you much but sounds like you need professional help or someone that can help you remove the toilet. Good luck!

  9. It’s called a toilet snake. That is what the plumber you would pay $100 to is going to use. You can buy one in the plumbing section at Home Depot or Lowes for a lot less money. It is very easy to use… just stick the end in the toilet and turn it until the clog is gone.

  10. Get a snake/auger from your local home improvement store. Works a heck of a lot easier than a plunger, especially if your toilets are like mine where the hole is squarish and the plunger doesn’t seal well.

    There are 2 types of plungers, ones that pull and ones that push. With toilet blockage, which direction do you want the "obstruction" to go? Sometimes, filling the toilet bowl with water may do it (do not flush while doing this), the weight of the water may slowly push the problem downstream.
